Max`s Magical tdai Food in Bangkok

Great place to eat - very reasonably priced, tasty food and Max blew our mind with his magic - ate here two days in a row and we tried 6 different dishes all great!

Very friendly proprietor and able to speak Japanese，Englsh，Korean and Chinese，what a great guy ! with reasonable price ，friendly service，and most important for me is ，at 36 degree C hot weather， this is a rare restaurant with air conditioning。

Fried rice of medium quality and extremely small portion. Seafood of only medium freshness. Staff gave poor services, putting the food down with a "I don't freaking care about anything" attitude without speaking a single word, a service style which is notoriously known only in local tea restaurants of Hong Kong but not anywhere else on this planet. Obviously overrated and I don't know why loads of Farangs are going here.

Indifferently prepared food. If you’re entertained by the host you’ll probably have a good time but otherwise wouldn’t bother for the food. Bland and uninspired. Small servings. Ok mixed drinks. Revolting bathroom attached to kitchen.

Fried fish in spicy sour sauce and mango sticky rice were both so delicious. Great location too. 4 stars because I pretty annoyed that they forgot I’d ordered mango sticky rice but lied and said they were still making it when I clearly saw someone being told to start making it

Incredible food at a very low price.If you are looking for the best quality food at the lowest possible price, this would be it. We weren’t there for the magic tricks, or for the alcohol which most guests seem to be, but came time and time again for the delicious food!Expect service to be a bit slow as they get extremely busy. Not the friendliest servers either but amazing food for amazing prices!Highly recommended!!

I ordered green curry chicken with rice. The portion was small and the chicken was overcooked. Curry wasn't tasty and aromatic. I am not sure why there are so many positive reviews for this place.

Max amuses his guests with a little conjuring and table magic in a very laid back atmosphere. The food is different from the carbon copied menus of the larger establishments on this street. Vegetarians please note the dishes are available with tofu as substitute. That was their smartest trick in my book.

It was alright. There wasn't much food for vegetarian options there. There was a long wait as well and the food that eventually came had a weird taste to it. The green curry wasn't that nice it had these very bitter berries in it. The only real upside was that the guy who served us was very nice and attentive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Food was exceptionally tasty and price was reasonable.

Decent for pricing. Pork kale is good. Green curry chicken was not so flavor rich. But they were generous with chicken.

Max magical Thaifood!Best place to eat I have been in Thailand!Awesome original Thai food for great prices near the famous khaosan road. You have to try the chicken cashew, basil leave chicken and the massaman curry!Beside the awesome food the boss MAX performs a great show with his card tricks! Just go there and enjoy!

The place is a little hidden. The board is too small to notice’Max’s’We ordered pad Thai , chicken curry with rice and Leo beers ( local brand )Food was tasty, had the right amount of spice to give your taste buds a treat. Recommended 👍🏼

If you're a tourist looking for what tourists usually looks, you will be disappointed.If you want to eat real Thai food like a common Thai people do than run to here! Prices lower than on Khaosan and sooooo tasty! Do not expect fancy standard, expect feeling yourself like a Thailandian. Ignore those who rated place with one 🌟.

The bustle of the street vendors and the top songs for music just next door- If you stop by Max’s Magical Thai Food, being entertained will be an understatement 🤩 Max does card tricks and magic tricks while you wait for your food 🤗🎭He was such a funny guy and his restaurants was affordable and delicious! My husband and I came back many nights of our trip 😊👌🏼

One of my favorite places in SE Asia. I go there each time I visit Bankgok. Food is delicious, prices affordable and owner whose charm makes every visit pleasant. Totally recommend!

Will definitely go back and eat at Max's. Ask him for his recommendation when ordering. The spicy fish is DELISH!!!!! Watch out for his magic tricks.

Came for lunch one day and wasn't disappointed. Cashew chicken was a bit different than other places do it but I quite enjoyed it. Service was quick albeit a bit cold.

A wonderful experience eating for once in smorgasbord with minimum amount together with other nationalities. By yourself 200 baht is enough to survive yourself.Free magic trick by himself the son of owner.

It's not called magic for no reason. Come at night and you'll understand why 😏 but be careful of his wallet. It has big fire inside.

Ordered our food. Waited for 20-30 min for rice and soup. Good thing the waiter or owner was keeping us entertained with his magic tricks, while we were waiting.After my mate finished his soup AND I've paid the bill, my food actually showed up.Not really what we expected.But nice magic tricks I suppose...

10/5 stars... Max is amazing! He hosts you sooo well.Best pad thai by far and I have had pad thai all over Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok.Food is great but Max and his party tricks are even better. Come for the food and stay for the company!

Food is okay, the magic performance is awesome. Max speaks multiple languages (pretty fluently!), so he might just speak your language. I think that connection that he tries to build, is really an added value.

This I a great place to site down with friends and have something to eat and drink on a night out. Max the owner is a great guy and he does some magic to entertain his guests. I stayed near the restaurant for 2 weeks and I went to his restaurant about 8 times. I hope to come back soon really loved the entertainment, service and the food.
